So Far I have learned that my grammar is not that big of an issue when it comes to coding; at least for now. While Using C# I have learned some basics of coding; creating basic controls for character movement, creating basic enemies that chase you, and having patrols states. I experience small problems with writing the code properly because coding is so sensitive with capital letters, spaces, and how things are spelled and the only way that I was able to solve them was thanks to Unity Engine. Every time when I got an error Unity would pop up a message saying something like "Unity Redacted (29,9)
Those numbers are so useful because they tell me in what line is the code wrong and what character specifically it is. That way I was able to spell check my errors.

Honestly, this year is not as bad as other years I've noticed that people change a lot and you can't expect everyone to be the same as they once were. Compared to last school year, this school year is not as bad but I've: as many, have struggled this year at least academically, especially with math and chemistry. Now in GAD ( Game And Art Design), we are starting to learn how to code. I've worried a little bit because my grammar is not proficient but I'm going to try my best. We are starting to learn the basics of C#: it's a coding software for many things, were using it for the game developing software called Unity.
While working on the GDD I have lent a few things first I lend that GDD is the guide to creating a game. The GDD has concept art and rules that game developers follow. Rules or not literally rules but they are more like a guide to let the artist know the idea of what the game, is and how the game works. The GDD can also have a storyline and great selling points to get an idea of the type of audience that the game developers are looking for. In the process of creating my GDD, I had to come up with various concepts for my game. Initially, I thought of calling my game "The lost ones" After that, I came up with different names and PopulationD stook. I collaborated with my friends for different ideas and I thought that the horror aspect would be interesting for the game. For the concept art, I just used a combination of some demons from pop culture and some Japanese demons. For example, the dor is a demon that is inspired by the Japanese demon the wall which does not allow anyone to pass by. I just took inspiration from it and added my spin into it.
The writing portion was hard thankfully my friends helped me with the grammar. Currently what we, are learning in class is about GDD's which means Game design documents. This doc is needed to have a set of rules to understand what the game is about and what the target audience is for, it can also include a specific niche for the game. The GDD can also include Gameconcepts, Art Assets, User Interface, and even the unique selling points for the game. The GDD is a lot of important information that the game developers needs. Almost every game that has ever been professionally published has a GDD. This file is so important that if you don't have one there is a huge chance that the game might fail. Recently I have been working on my YouTube channel I have been seeing some growth on it. I have been uploading animated stories on the channel and after that, I have been getting a lot of views to compare to average. I think that my Youtube channel helps me with creating art for my portfolio and it also helps me mentally because I can express my emotions towards someone that is listening, it's like therapy it helps me to relax.
Remember the game called "Dance Dance Revolution"? In case you don't know Dance Dance Revolution is a rhythm game that requires the player to step on the arrows to keep up with the game. There is a new game that came out on October 5, 2020. The game is called Friday Night Funkin. What is Friday Night Funkin' about? it's about the main protagonist "Boyfriend" and his adventure with his girlfriend called... Girlfriend. The two couples just want to have a night of passion every Friday but every week there love life is interrupted by various characters and you as the player you need to win each week or the character will fail and Boy Friend will die. The game officially has 7 weeks but there was an extra week that was published by the developers but it is only playable online through a website. The official game is only available for pc and can only be played with a keyboard and mouse the controls are fairly easy you, can either use the arrow keys "up, down, left, right," or you can use W, S, A, D or you can use a combination of them both. I use A, S, up, and right arrow keys. The game genre is a rhythm game, and this game was, developed for a game jam by Cameron Tyler and a small team of Newsround users "David, Brown, Isaac, Garcia, and Evilsk8r. I like the FNF community because it is very open-source and, the developers let the community create and publish their mods on the game. Personally, in the raw game, I give it a 9/10 I think that the music genre and the storyline are grates but, it just needs more levels. Either way, they are coming out with more weeks (songs) for the game. The art style is 2d cartoon characters while the player is looking at them in 3rd person. The way how the characters are positioned is like a rap battle style, every week has a different boss, and different background, and of course, different songs to play, I recommend it.
For the story bord I decided to create it in photoshop and basically the story bord describes how the beginning of the game would have start. The idea of the game is about the legendary fruit that can grant any wish but the cost of your most desire thing, and the game starts off by the narrator explaining the story of the lost daughter and the king and then it transition to the player and at the final stage the player beats the tutorial.
On my rank list that I made for the brainstorm, I think that these are the best ideas that I came up with the top three are defeating an enemy gives you their soul which makes your Weapons' stronger Number two is The storyline of the antagonist which is a kind that ate a fruit from a magical tree that grants you your most desire wish but it will cost you your most precious thing and so the king got power but it cost him his daughter. And the third is a magic fruit that is produced from a tree that only gives fruit every 1000 years. Then if a person eats the fruit there deepest and most desired wish will come true but their most desired thing will be gone. These are my best ideas because they are not exactly character designs but these can be great for stories which I believe that story can game mechanics can create a Grate game. For the style of the game, I was thinking of making it medieval.
this past month my class and I were assigned to create a game as a project Honestly I was excited to create the first game I instantly started to write down ideas. We had to watch a few videos on the basics of unity in order for us to actually create a game. I started to work with Unity first and start building the level. After that, I got on 3ds max to create the statue for the game I wanted to create a full statue but I instead dicided to create the head of the statue. after I finish doing that I went to photoshop to create some assets for the game I created the wallpaper that is on the walls and on the main menu. After that I was basically done but I wanted to create something different I wanted to stand out from the rest of my class. So i dicided to create a Mian menu and a pause menu. I was sucesfully able to create the main menue but the pause menu wa sglitch and It was stuck on the screen so I just deleated it and kepted working on the game. I also added some free copyrighted music to the game so that players wont get bord from it.
If you want to play the game its avilable in this link ----> https://issakplayz.itch.io/escape-from-the-bab I have built a computer for the first time and, it was fun when I was building the computer I, thought that I would keep all of the software that I had installed from my old computer if I just kept the same hard drives. you can only keep the simple files and, having big complex programs like Sony Vegas Pro 17 would not switch over so, I took this opportunity to learn Premiere pro they vary similar but, I have heard that making animations is easier to do in premiere pro instead of after-effects also it is a professional video editing software so it would be useful when it comes to compositing my videos for the future. I have tried editing in premiere pro before but it was too complicated for me but, now that I have taken a small lesson on it, I know that I will be able to learn and grow from it. Hopefully, I will be able to create great animations for my youtube channel, but one can only hope so much I will have to get to work as soon as possible or, my viewers will get mad.
I have learned a lot while watching the unity certification video. I have learned the basics of developing a game. I have also learned the basics of unity and how to download assets or import assets that I have made over the years. You can use assets that were made with 3d software like Maya, 3ds max, blender, and cinema 4d. The best way to use unity for creating games with little work is using the import tool and then adding the pro builder tool which allows you to create assets inside unity. In the course, we used this to create a room for our little game. The interface was simple and easy to understand. I struggle remembering how to use old scenes like the fps game.
